This course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to operate heavy rigid vehicles safely including load and route management. and applies to those working in site-based roles.
Delivered under the Timor-Leste Approved Code of Practice COP-C2-TL, the course includes a blend of theory, practice and practical assessment.
Course duration
The course is delivered over 10 training and assessment days (2 weeks) and includes a blend of theory, practice and practical assessment.
Course topics
- Plan and prepare for the work
- Identify hazards and apply the relevant risk controls
- Carry out the work in line with established requirements
- Demonstrate safe work practices for the licence class
- Conduct housekeeping activities
Course outcome
On successful completion you will be assessed as competent and made eligible for the C2 — Heavy rigid vehicle, valid for 3 years.
Entry requirements
- Age: Minimum 18 years of age
- Average reading and writing skills in Tetum, Portuguese or English
- Have the necessary health and fitness to carry out the work safely, proven by a Medical Certificate — Medical Clearance Request form (LTL-MED-F01)
